AUTOMATIC PHOSPHATING & CED COATING LINE
An automatic phosphating and CED (Cathodic Electrodeposition) coating line is a specialized facility used for surface treatment and coating of metal parts. It combines two important processes: phosphating, which prepares the surface for coating, and CED coating, which provides a protective and decorative finish.
1. The metal parts to be coated go through a pretreatment stage where they are thoroughly cleaned and prepared. This usually involves removing any dirt, grease, rust, or previous coatings from the surface of the parts.
2. The cleaned parts are then subjected to a phosphating process. Phosphating involves immersing the parts in a phosphating solution, which contains chemicals that react with the metal surface, forming a layer of phosphate conversion coating. This coating provides excellent adhesion for subsequent coatings and enhances corrosion resistance.
